When devastating monsoon floods submerged Rantau Panjang for over a month and a half, En Xin Charity rapidly mobilized a 10-truck humanitarian convoy to deliver immediate disaster relief to affected rural communities.
In collaboration with Hatten Hotel, the convoy delivered 650 disaster-relief pillows and comfortable bedding for hostel students whose dormitories were damaged by floodwaters. Working alongside local relief coordinators, volunteers distributed 8 tons of frozen nutritious meals, clean drinking water, hygiene care packs (body wash, lotion, sanitizers), and food staples directly to marooned families.
During the mission, En Xin Charity formalized an emergency response Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the local Member of Parliament office to establish recurring food bank supply channels for future monsoon emergencies.
